Rapid Response Force to handle Man vs Wild situations in Pune

Man vs Wild Pune to get its own Rapid Response Force to handle Man vs Wild conflict situations like December 2020. A team of 12 people will be formed for handling the 'wild animal rescue' task. Rescue operation in Tapovan tunnel Dhauliganga and Alaknanda River are flooding after the glacier burst of Nanda Devi Glacier near Joshimath on Sunday 7th February 2021. More than 203 people are feared missing in this natural disaster. SDRF, NDRF, ITBP continued their work at night also. They cleared debris at the opening of the Tapovan-Reni project tunnel and managed to rescue 12 laborers so far. Total 178 labors were working on RishiGanga Project when the Galcier burst happened. 14 dead bodies have been recovered so far.
